GREEN SCHOOLS AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR

The Green Schools Ambassador Program, our "program-within-a-program" for new participants, is taking a hiatus this fall. Regardless, we are still excited to provide first-time participants with the opportunity for recognition, resources, and mini-grants this year. If YOUR school would like to become a new Green School this year, please contact us to find out how!

***

Does your school want to "go green" for the first time this year?  Need help getting started?  Your school may be eligible for the Green Schools Ambassador Program!

The Green Schools Ambassador Program provides free, in-person assistance to new participants in FAU Pine Jog's established Green Schools Recognition Program.

New schools are paired with an “Ambassador,” an experienced green mentor who meets with the school’s Green Team throughout the year to help them plan their green activities and apply for Green Schools recognition in March. Schools that earn recognition receive certificates and digital logos and are eligible for mini-grants and cash awards.

*NOTE: Ambassadors are only available to a limited number of schools each year. Any Palm Beach or Martin County school is eligible to apply for an Ambassador, as long as the school has not participated in the Green Schools Recognition Program in the last two years. Ambassadors are assigned to eligible schools on a first-come-first-served basis.
