Afterschool Program

Pine Jog Environmental Education Center/FAU is operating the Afterschool Program at Pine Jog Elementary School. Our goal is provide each child with an enriching after school learning experience that serves to extend the environmental focus of the school day and helps your child to grow socially and academically, while providing safety and guidance.

We provide a quality elementary age program which supports children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development in a safe, secure environment during out-of-school hours.

Hours of Operation: The Pine Jog Afterschool Program is a full-time program which begins at the end of the school day at 2:20 p.m. and ends at 6:20 p.m., Monday thru Friday on regular school days. Snack and drink will be provided each day and the snack fee is included in the monthly tuition.

We are opting for a full-time program to allow time for special environmental education and enrichment activities that you won’t want your child to miss!

Staff: Our Afterschool Program is coordinated by experienced/trained afterschool staff. Our student to counselor ratio will not exceed 18:1.

Program Tuition: The cost of the After School Program is $10.44/day/child. The monthly cost of the program will vary depending on the number of regular school days each month. In addition, to the monthly tuition, there is a mandatory $5/month/child activity fee. Tuition must be paid no later than the 3rd school day of each month. Payments may also be made in cash, check or money order, please note that all payments are made out to FAU.

Registration: A fee of $25/child guarantees a place in our Afterschool Program to all parents who take advantage of early registration. Registration fees are not refundable after the first day of the new school year.
